This site stands as a living tribute to her extraordinary life, faith, and legacy.
Called home on Sunday morning, August 24, 2025, she now rests in eternal peace.
May this memorial reflect the light she brought to countless lives through over 40 years of unwavering ministry.
Apostle/Pastor Classie (Prather) Green—born in Toccoa, called on Brooklyn’s Nostrand Avenue—gave her lifetime to the Gospel: first set apart as Missionary and Evangelist at Eternal Light Church Inc. Christ Temple; a barrier-breaker ordained Pastor at Friendship Baptist Church (Toccoa) under Rev. Karl D. Moore; later consecrated Apostle and founder of Anointed Vision Church, which she faithfully guided into an online ministry so the Word could meet people everywhere. In the 1980s she mentored women in Sheepshead Bay and launched the independent Caring & Sharing outreach to place groceries on family tables, all while traveling the nation to plant and strengthen churches. A devoted mother to Xenia Denise, Dr. Charles, and Anthony B., and grandmother to eleven, she mothered many more in the Spirit. Her message was unwavering: “My whole purpose in life is to see souls saved, filled with the Holy Spirit, and working for the Kingdom of God.” May her courage, tenderness, and obedience inspire us to love boldly, serve faithfully, and keep building the Kingdom for generations to come.
Born in Toccoa and called in Brooklyn, Apostle Classie Green spent decades mentoring, planting
and strengthening churches, and opening doors where women had not been welcomed. She founded
Anointed Vision Church in 2012 and guided it online during the pandemic. This site preserves her story
and keeps her work alive
